MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST
Joi N. Lowe is a Maryland-based visual artist and certified Montessori Guide specializing in mixed-media paintings, sculptures, and tapestries. Her artwork heavily explores themes of African American life and landscapes, frequently blending natural and recycled materials to express deep personal emotions, historic respect, and environmental stewardship.
Lowe holds over two decades of exhibiting across Maryland venues including Annmarie Sculpture Garden, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, Artworks@7th, and the Historic Sotterley Museum.
